WHY WE LOVE JUNE CAMPS!

  • Camps are great way for students to test out new styles, without having to commit to a year long team, performance fees, or costume dues.

  • It’s also an excellent way to improve in the areas of dance/cheer/tumbling that the dancers are already familiar with.

  • There is an option to stay free of charge at the pool for grades 1st and up!

  • We offer camps for ages 4-18, all ages and levels welcome. Camps run June 5th-24th.

  • Details, dates, schedule, & pricing below.

  • Competition teams need to attend one of the June camps per team they make. Each style is offered two different weeks to work with schedules.

Class Descriptions & Attire

  • FOR ALL SUMMER CLASSES: Hair must be pulled back out of face, off of shoulders

  • Dance (no hip hop): Jazz technique, Ballet and Deep/stretch acro (or tumbling of younger kids) as well as improv, and connection to music/moment. While normally we require black leos and pink tights for ballet, we not require this for camps. Anything form fitting, leotards are preferred. 3rd-5th Grade need Ballet flats and jazz shoes (foot undies, gore boot etc). These are preferred for Pre/K-2nd Grade but bare feet (or just one of those shoe styles) are ok.

  • Jumps, Angles, Tumbling, Stunts safety. **We do not typically get into higher level stunting at camps, even our advanced returners need a a review of stunt safety every year! Please wear cheer shoes or light weight tennis shoes, shorts and any top. Form fitting is preferred for spotting and correcting form.

  • We focus on hip hop choreography as well as fundamentals such as waving, popping, house, freestyle and other fundamentals. We also work on tricks (kipp-ups, stalls etc), catering to each student level. Please wear tennis shoes and anything you can move in!

LUNCH AND POOL INFO

  • Bring a LUNCH or SNACK to ALL CAMPS. We will take a 15 min break mid camp to eat. Please only bring WATER to drink.

  • For camps grade 1st and up we hit the pool at the end of day 1 and 2, at no additional cost. Students are not required to attend the pool. There will be a chaperone during those hours by a trusted high school dancer or Bliss teacher and there is also a life guard on duty. Additionally, on the 3rd day of camps, families are invited to swim at the pool FREE OF CHARGE afterwards. Keep in Mind, there is no chaperone on the 3rd day and a parent is required for kids under the age of 12.

  • IMPORTANT: If your student has special swim needs please contact us before camp begins.

  • Also, we will enforce sunscreen unless contacted otherwise.
