Why we love camps!

Camps are great way for students to test out new styles, without having to commit to a year long team, performance fees, or costume dues. It’s also an excellent way to improve in the areas of dance/cheer/tumbling the dancers are already familiar with.  There is also an option to stay free of charge at the pool after classes each day!  More info regarding the pool with each age group below!  We offer camps for ages 2-200, BOYS and GIRLS welcome at ALL camps!

**Boys attending an ages 7 up cheer camp or jazz/ballet camp attend FREE – you heard me, FREE!!**

 

Ages, Levels & Time Frames

Below if the information for each age/style for camps.  A set/detailed schedule will be emailed out to registrants 7-10 days prior to each camp.

TOTS (ages 2-4)  & KINDER (ages 4.5-6) CAMPS

  • Tots camp  is 75 min, 4 days in a row from 11:15am-12:30pm.  Kinder is 2 hours, 4 days in a row from 10:30am-12:30pm.
  • Both involves mixed styles of dance, tumbling, play time, and tea party/snack time for tots(bring your own snacks) and lunch time for Kinder (bring your own lunch).  **There will be more fun then work involved for tots age group**
  • We THEME each day of our Kinder camp, princess/prince day, super hero day, beach day etc.
  • Tots and Kinder campers are invited to use the pool (with friends and family) on the last day of each camp, which is at no additional cost.   Bliss will not be chaperoning, parent must be present.  Additionally, we will not hand you child off to another adult/sibling (on any day) unless you CALL use beforehand and let us know.

 

CAMPS FOR AGES 7-10 (2nd-5th)

  • Cheer and jazz/ballet camps are five days, with 2.5 hours of training beginning at 12:30-3pm each day for the first four days.  They have the option to head out to the pool at the end for the day for 90 min (pool is chaperoned and there are life guards).  The last day/fifth day is 2 hours total.
  • Hip hop Camps are 4 days, with students attending 2 hours of training, beginning at 12:00pm each day.  They have the option to head out to the pool at the end for the day for 90 min (pool is chaperoned and there are life guards).  There is no 5th day for hip hop camps.
  • Kids will be split by age/level, so although time frame is the same, their schedules for the day will be different.
  • Each camp involves fun at the pool at the end of each day, at no additional cost.  Students are not required to attend the pool for any camp.  There will be chaperoning during those hours by a trusted high school dancer or Bliss teacher and there is also a life guard on duty.   Additionally, on the 5th day of dance and cheer camps,  families are invited to swim at the pool FREE OF CHARGE afterwards. Students may bring food or money for the snack bar.
  •  IMPORTANT: If your student cannot swim please contact before camp begins.  Also, we will enforce sunscreen unless contacted otherwise.

  • Cheer and jazz/ballet camps are five days, with 3.5 hours of training beginning at 11:30am-3pm each day for the first four days.  They have the option to head out to the pool at the end for the day (pool is chaperoned and there are life guards).  The last day/fifth day is 2 hours total.
  • Hip hop Camps are 4 days, with students attending 2.5 hours of training, beginning at 11:30am each day.  They have the option to head out to the pool at the end for the day (pool is chaperoned and there are life guards).  There is no 5th day for hip hop camps.
